Rush-hour queues on A45 near Northampton after shed load blocks two lanes

Huge queues are being reported on the A45 near Northampton after a lorry shed it's load over the carriageway during the Monday morning rush-hour.

According to AA Travel, two lanes are blocked bewteen Riverside and the Barnes Meadow flyover, heading westbound from Wellingborough.

Traffic is stalled back to Earls Barton and also on the A43 approaching the Riverside roundabout with delays of 25 minutes being reported.

A broken down vehicle in the queues added to the problems for motorists heading towards the M1 from the east.
