Pedestrian in his 80s flown to hospital after crash in Oundle town centre
Police report man seriously injured in collision with car
A pedestrian in his 80s was flown to hospital with serious injuries after a crash which closed part of Oundle town centre on Friday morning.
The man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital following the incident involving a white Ford Fiesta in Market Square.
Northamptonshire Police reported St Osyths Lane was shut in both directions from Market Place to East Road as a result of the accident at about 10am.
This closure was likely to remain in place into the afternoon, causing delays on North Street and West Street in the town centre.
