A man is in hospital suffering from serious multiple injuries following a crash on the A45 near Raunds.
At around 10.45pm last night, west of the Raunds roundabout, two vehicles travelling on the westbound carriageway towards Stanwick were in collision.
A silver Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with the rear of a grey Nissan Navara. The Navara left the carriageway and the driver was thrown from the vehicle. The Corsa also left the carriageway, ending up on its side in a hedgerow.
The driver of the Navara - a 45-year-old man from Little Staughton, Bedford - was taken to Peterborough Hospital with serious multiple injuries.
The driver of the Corsa - a 17-year-old boy from Rushden - was taken to Kettering General Hospital.
Three other passengers in the Corsa - an 18-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys, all from Rushden - were also taken to Kettering General Hospital.
