Heavy traffic as A14 remains closed due to flooding in Northamptonshire

The A14 remains closed both ways this morning (December 24) after it was closed last night due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall.

This has led to reports of heavy traffic - due to flooding - between Thrapston and Brampton Hut.

There are currently more than 20 flood warnings across the county and some areas saw up to 50mm of rainfall yesterday alone (December 23).
