Girl, three, taken to hospital after Rushden crash

A three-year-old girl and a man were taken to hospital following a crash in Park Avenue, Rushden.

The collision involving two pedestrians, a Ford transit van and a parked Vauxhall Zafira car took place at about 1.50pm on Wednesday (May 22).

A police spokesman said: “The pedestrians, a three-year-old girl and a 29-year-old man, were taken to Walsgrave hospital.

“The girl’s injuries are not thought to be serious.

“The man sustained serious injuries and is receiving hospital treatment.”
