BREAKING NEWS: Body found at Pitsford Reservoir is missing man say police

And they believe it is the body of missing Northamptonshire man Colin Addington, who was last seen last Tuesday morning.

Police had discovered the 55-year-old’s van near Pitsford Reservoir later the same day after he did not turn up at work.

A search of neighbouring villages took place before officers focused on the reservoir area itself from Wednesday onwards.

It is understood a body was found on Saturday.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and officers are now preparing a report for the coroner.

Police have thanked the public for their help during the searches.
