Motorists heading out of Northamptonshire were hit by delays after a crash shut the A6 at Market Harborough.
Police reported the closure in both directions between the junction with Kettering Road and A4304 Rockingham Road, at the southern end of the Harborough bypass at around 8am on Thursday (February 6).
Queues built up on the A427 from Corby as traffic was diverted via Dingley.
