A45 at Wellingborough closed after serious accident involving motorbike
The A45 is currently closed from its junction with the A509 Wilby Way (west) to the A509 east (Turnells Mill Lane) because of a serious road accident.
Highways England says the collision involves a motorcyclist and it is assisting Northants Police with traffic management while the incident is dealt with.
Drivers wishing to use the A45 are being told to take the official diversion, which is to go round Wellingborough towards the A14, along the A14 to the A6 junction and back down to the Chowns Mill roundabout where they can rejoin the A45,
