PEOPLE turned out at the weekend to enjoy the thrills and spills of the fair at Bassetts Close in Wellingborough.
The Stevens Family Fun Fair rolled into town on Friday and will run until Bank Holiday Monday, May 7.
Rides include the dodgems, a ghost train, waltzers and a skyrider, while other attractions include an arcade and trampolines.
Rosemary Huchins, of Henshaw Road, Wellingborough, was at the fair on Saturday. She said: “We went on all the rides. I come every year, I know all the people, they are really good people. I was brought up with the fun fair.”
Susan Radford of Mill Road, Kettering, also went along on Saturday. She said: “It was my first time at this fair and I thought it was quite good, it’s a good thing to have in town.”
Natalie Fay, of Knox Road, Wellingborough, said: “I always come to the fair every year pretty much. It’s something to do.”
And Craig Churchill, of Queensway, Wellingborough, said: “It’s getting better every year, I will give them that.”
The fair is open from 2.30pm next weekend and on Bank Holiday Monday and from 6pm on weekdays.
