Three men smash kitchen window before fleeing in burgundy Volvo Estate, Northamptonshire Police say

Three men smashed a kitchen window to gain entry to a property in Northampton during a late afternoon burglary.

The incident happened in Cold Ashby Road on Monday, February 26, between 5pm and 5.15pm, Northamptonshire Police today revealed.

Three men smashed a kitchen window to gain entry into the property before they fled the scene in a burgundy Volvo Estate.

A police spokeswoman said: "The three men all had black hair, were about 5ft 9in, of slim build, in their late 20s, all wearing dark clothing.

"The driver was of a stockier build than the other two."
