Three men from Corby have been charged with assisting an offender after a police raid which ended with the arrest of a suspected murderer earlier this week.
Hertfordshire Police say the trio, aged 59, 41 and 38, were arrested in the early morning armed raid in Congyer Close, Corby, yesterday (Wednesday, December 3).
The operation was carried out by officers from Northamptonshire in partnership with the Hertfordshire force.
The officers also arrested Michael McInerney, 33, who has since been charged with the murder of a Watford man, Arulchelvan ‘Nick’ Prasanna, in May last year.
McInerney is due to appear before magistrates in Luton tomorrow (Friday).
The three men from Corby have been given bail to return to court in Luton on February 15 next year.
