Three car collision on A45

Three cars have collided on the A45, between Wellingborough and Earls Barton.

Police, fire, and ambulance, services are all in attendance at the three-car crash.

Police were called to the incident on the westbound carriageway of the A45, between Great Doddington and Earls Barton, at 8.17am on Friday morning (July 26).

PC Dave Lee, of Northants Police, reported the incident on Twitter and said traffic has started to build up.

On his Twitter account, he said: “Next job a 3 car collision on the A45 from Wellingborough towards Earls Barton. Reports of a lane blocked. Likely to be delays folks. #avoid”

He added: “All 3 emergency services are making this collision on the A45. Further reports suggest that traffic is starting to build up.”

PC Dave Lee later reported: “ Pleased to say that there are little to no injuries.”

Part of the road was partially closed this morning but it has now fully re-opened after police vehicles managed to drag the cars of the A45.
