Thrapston man to take part in moped session for MS charity

A group of bikers are holding a marathon moped session this weekend to raise funds for a friend.

Daniel Maddock, of Thrapston, said: “A close friend of ours was recently diagnosed with MS so a group of us (all bikers, who shamefully call ourselves the “Buff Riders”) have decided to enter a six-hour endurance moped race at RAF Wittering to raise money for the MS Society.

“We have received a lot of donations from my colleagues at Data Interchange in Peterborough and support from Paul Hinchliffe at BTD racing in Barnwell getting our moped up to scratch!”
