Thieves who may have been carrying a knife stole a designer purse from a courier as he made a delivery in Wellingborough.

The driver had pulled up in Soane Close at about 1pm on Monday, December 21, to deliver a Louis Vuitton purse.

He was then approached by two men who demanded that he hand the parcel over.

The delivery driver was left with minor injuries following the robbery and it is believed one of the men may have been carrying a knife.

Both men were white and wore hooded tops.

The first was aged between 20 and 35, about 5ft 8in and of medium build.

He wore a grey hoodie, dark trousers and muddy trainers.

The second man wore a blue hoodie and ran with a limp.

He wore what is described as a Burberry-style scarf.
