The Flying Scotsman’s visit to Northamptonshire in pictures

The world’s most famous steam engine paid a visit to Northamptonshire at the weekend.

Hundreds of people turned out all along the route, which saw the Flying Scotsman pull carriages on its way to York.

The train stopped to take on water at Kettering station, and passed over the Harringworth Viaduct as it travelled north.
