Teenager stabbed in Rushden attack

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in Rushden.

The victim was injured during an incident in Birch Road, Rushden, at about 5.30pm on Sunday.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, although his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Two men aged 17 and 18 were arrested in relation to the attack, but they have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the stabbing to come forward.

A police spokesman said: “Any witnesses to the incident can call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
