Could you be the next hot shot?

The Olympics, BRAVE, The Hunger Games, Avengers Assemble and, very soon, the Paralympics – one of the hottest sports around at the moment is archery. And now everyone can have a go for free.

Clubs around the country are joining in a celebration of archery – the Archery Big Weekend - by throwing open their doors and organising taster events that are open to all.

All you have to do is go along to Targetcraft Archers at Westlodge Rural Centre, Desborough, on Monday, August 27, from 12 to 4pm and members will show you what it’s all about.

In addition to the free “have a go”, Targetcraft have an exciting array of archery based games, including “Moving Target” and a “William Tell”!!(for a small fee)

It’s all timed to coincide with British archery’s showcase event – the Archery GB National Series grand finals in Oxford on August 26.

Archery is the ultimate sport for all. It’s great for all the family and gives everyone the chance to fulfil their potential.

So if you fancy yourself as a Princess Merida, Katniss Everdeen, Hawkeye or a potential Olympic or Paralympic star, go along to Targetcraft Archers at Westlodge Rural Centre, Desborough and have a go for yourself. It’s free, it’s fun – and you might surprise yourself!
