A number of summer fun activities will be on offer for children and families in Kettering this summer.
The Teenage Market will return to Kettering High Street on Saturday, June 11, between 9am and 5pm, and will see a full day of exciting energy and entertainment alongside a range of bike-related activities for Cycle Saturday.
There will be a variety of stalls, showcasing local teenage talent, produce and innovative ideas, for all ages to enjoy.
Following last year’s successful community event, Kettfest returns from July 1- to 3 in and around Kettering, brightening the town with art, culture, music and community.
To support the event and local businesses, Kettering Council is offering free parking on Saturday, July 2, in its town centre car parks on the day.
The ever-popular Kettering By The Sea will return to Kettering Market Place for its 12th year from July 21 to August 13.
The giant sand pit will be back for three-and-a-half weeks of summer fun, joined by splash fountains, pantomimes, a big screen, beach volleyball, animals from West Lodge Rural Farm and shows from London Science Museum, plus much more.
Bands in the Park will come to Kettering on selected Sundays from June 12.
People can head to Rockingham Road Pleasure Park this summer for their chance to enjoy a selection of popular local bands and groups in the bandstand.
All performances are on Sundays and start at 3pm, with donations going to Cransley Hospice.
New Priorities will kick off the summer programme with the first performance on June 12 and look out for performances from Sonny and the Honey Dippers, Dave Johnson Band and Kettering Silver Band.
