COLLEGE students showed stamina, concentration and resilience when they produced sets for Wicksteed Park’s new pavilion show.
A team of 11 students from Moulton College, Northampton, researched designed and made sets for the show at the Kettering park, Rockin’ Around The Clock.
Lecturer Richard Allen said: “It was a real job that had to be completed on time. They did the wallpapering which wasn’t easy, but they solved the problems they needed to solve. The brickwork effect was very laborious to mark out, so it required stamina and constant concentration. At one point marking out on a high part, the lines had been drawn wrong, they were not level. Without any bother they were wiped off and redone. This was a great lesson in quality control.”
