Strictly Corby, the town’s version of the hit TV dance show, raised a staggering £20,343 for Lakelands Hospice.
The event held at the Best Western on Friday, October 18, saw dancers trip the light fantastic in a night of fun and friendly competition.
The total raised was £4,000 more than last year’s event.
Fundraising manager at the hospice in Butland Road, Paul Marlow, said: “To beat last year’s total and reach £20,000 was beyond our wildest dreams and I can’t thank everyone involved enough. It was a real team effort.”
Applications for next year’s Strictly Corby event are now available on the web at www.lakelandshospice.org.uk.
