Steam locomotives passing through the county

A rail tour hauled by two Black Five steam locomotives will pass through the county on Saturday (March 15).

The train route will follow the scenic Kettering to Manton railway via Corby and Gretton, crossing the spectacular Harringworth viaduct and travelling north via Oakham and Melton Mowbray.

The train will be seen at Corby railway station at about 9.35am, at Gretton at 9.40am and Harringworth at about 9.45am.

Spectators are reminded not to trespass on the railway or private property.
