A singing spectacular is returning for the third time to help raise money for Lakelands Hospice in Corby.
The Singing for Lakelands event has been organised by teenage classical singers Charlie Botting, 15, and Vicki-Louise Sherwin, 13.
The event is being held on Sunday, April 19, at the Best Western Hotel in Corby.
The first Singing for Lakelands was attended by Downton Abbey’s Brendan Coyle – and in the two events so far Charlie and Vicki-Louise have raised £3,423.
The duo are hoping to raise £10,000 during 2015 by encouraging performers from the Corby area to get involved.
Singing twins Classical Reflection, who are currently appearing on the BBC1 talent show The Voice, will be performing at the April event.
They will be joined by school choirs from Hawthorn and Rushton Primary Schools, and the Central Co-op Corby Choir.
Vicki and Charlie said: “We are very determined and we have already proved over the past two fundraisers that we can raise both awareness and funds for the hospice.
“Some local schools are even setting up choirs in order to be involved and we have a waiting list of interested performers ready and willing to take part in future fundraisers.”
Tickets for the event cost £5 for adults and £2.50 for children and can be bought by calling 07583 053004, 01536 747755 or 01536 401348.
