Runners and swimmers are raring to go for this year’s Sport Relief.
The Sport Relief events start at just a mile-long run or a fun swim so even those who don’t regularly take part in sport can get involved.
Corby’s event takes place at Rockingham Triangle on Sunday and the mile-long runs begin at midday, 12.15pm and 12.30pm.
Three-mile events take place at midday and 12.15pm and those wanting to run six miles start at midday.
In Kettering, the one, three and six mile runs start at 12.30pm on Sunday from Market Place.
Barnwell Country Park’s six-mile run starts at 11am, the three-mile at 11.10am and the one mile event kicks off at 11.20am on Sunday.
Wellinbgorough’s event takes place at Redwell Leisure Centre at 10.30am and 11.30am.
Organisers are recommending that people register online at www.sportrelief.com.
Swimathons are 60, 100 or 200 lengths of 25m pools. Kettering’s events take place on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at midday.
At Waendel Leisure Centre, swims take place on Friday, March 21, at 7pm or Saturday at 2pm.
You can take part in the swim event at Rushden Splash Pool on Saturday at 4.30pm.
