Corby’s successful Splat Camp will be offering a programme of activities to keep youngsters occupied during the schools’ Easter holidays.

Run by Corby Council at Lodge Park Sports Centre, it takes place from Monday, April 7, until Monday, April 14, for children from six to 14.

Activities will include arts and crafts, table tennis, air hockey, den-building, clay modelling, mini karts and new age curling.

Sessions will be held from 8.45am until 4pm, costing £8.25 for a half day and £15.50 for a full day.

Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, said: “Corby Splat Camp launched last year and has been a very popular programme with youngsters across the borough. The camp is the perfect place to get the children out of the house and into an environment where they can have fun and meet new people. Signing up is very easy but places are limited so don’t waste any more time.”

To sign up for Splat Camp download a registration form from the borough council’s website at www.corby.gov.uk/holidayactivities, fill it in and take it to Lodge Park Sports Centre in Shetland Way.
