A special guest took time out of his busy schedule to meet those who attend a community centre in Wellingborough.

The Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire, David
Laing, and his wife Mary spent several hours talking to clients and also enjoyed lunch during their visit to Glamis Hall.

The centre, which campaigners fought to save from closure after Wellingborough Council said it would no longer provide the service, also had entertainment on the day by Gary L Johnson.

Glamis Hall For All runs the centre, with services provided including a lunch club from 11am to 2pm Monday to Friday. For more information go to www.glamishall.org.uk.
