PEOPLE who work from home are being invited to share lunch to help break up their day.
Cottingham Village Store and Cafe hosts the weekly home-workers soup kitchens each Wednesday at 12.30pm.
The lunch events are aimed at people who normally work from home who want to break up the day with a walk, lunch and a chat, and hopefully half an hour away from the mobile phone.
On offer is a bowl of Del Robertson’s delicious homemade soup, a roll and a free drink.
The events are not designed to be networking events, they are a chance for a break.
The village shop in Corby Road reopened last year after being shut for several years. It is run as an Industrial and Provident Society which means that any profit it makes is ploughed back into the business. A committee of local people help manage the business and villagers hold shares in the store.
