Unemployment levels fell in three of the four north Northamptonshire areas in June.
Corby had 2,155 people claiming job seekers allowance compared with 2,189 in May; East Northamptonshire had 1,483 which was down from 1,550; and Wellingborough saw numbers fall from 2,145 in May to 2,134 last month.
Kettering saw a small increase from 2,257 up to 2,290 benefit claimants in June.
Nationally, unemployment has fallen for the fourth month in a row, the new figures showed today.
However, the jobless total for the north of the county is still up by 882 when compared with June 2011.
