With only 18 Fridays left until Corby Council's annual Christmas market, traders are being advised to book their place with more than half of the stalls already secured.

This year’s market is being held in James Ashworth VC Square on Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3, and traders are being encouraged to snap up a stall before it’s too late.

Traders already set to attend over the weekend include Avon, Dochelle, Forever Living, Brockleby Pie, Sarah’s Jams & Chutneys and Burleighs Gin – and there’s still room for lots more variety - from gifts and trees, to food and drink, all traders are invited to get involved with the annual event.

Anyone interested in securing a stall at this year’s market can contact Corby Council’s CB Property Team on 01536 464653 or send an email to [email protected].

Corby Council leader Tom Beattie said: “Christmas might seem like a long way away for some, but for traders that are interested in getting a pitch at Christmas markets, it always pays to get signed up as soon as possible.

“We are particularly looking to encourage local small businesses to take advantage of this opportunity to sell and promote their products during the busiest shopping season of the year.”
