Saints alive! There was fun and games in Rushden at the weekend.
To celebrate St George’s Day earlier in the week, the town centre was transformed by a number of special events and performers.
These included pupils from Alfred Street Junior School performing Maypole dancing, and dancers from Higham Hips & Haws Clog Dancers with fiddler Tony Lochmuller.
And St George himself was on hand to entertain the public, along with his traditional foe the fire breathing dragon of Rushden.
