Officers have arrested six people during a week of action aimed at tackling violent offences in Wellingborough.
Police officers and special constables teamed up for the operation, which resulted in six arrests.
The arrests were made in relation to numerous crimes being investigated in the Wellingborough area, including assault, theft and domestic violence.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “Our week of action in Wellingborough was very successful, with six people arrested in connection with a total of 20 crimes.
“These offences ranged from assaults and thefts to burglaries, harassment and domestic violence.
“The operation had a particular focus on violent offences and we are very pleased with the result.”
The days of action took place in the town last week.
