The first official beach dodgeball tournament in the region will be played in Kettering this weekend.
The UK Dodgeball Association says the tournament will take place at Arena Sports, Thurston Drive, on Saturday between 11am and 6pm, on the outdoor beach volleyball courts.
Teams are five-a-side, with a maximum squad size of eight. Any gender mix is permitted.
The entry fee is £45 per team, and entries must be in by midday on Friday.

UKDBA director of competitions Nick Pinnock, who is from Kettering, said: “Beach Dodgeball is a lot of fun to play, the sand means players can dive around safely.
“Locals can also give dodgeball a try but they will have to sort out a team quickly as there is a lot of interest already.”
The sport of dodgeball was popularised by the 2004 film of the same name.
