Supermarket shoppers helped to boost the funds of a county charity which supports children with rare forms of cancer and their families.
Chelsea’s Angels held a tombola and bag pack at Sainsbury’s in Wellingborough to raise much needed funds.
Chelsea’s Angels was set up by the family of Chelsea Knighton, of Irthlingborough, who died from acute neuroblastoma in 2009.
Her mum and dad Emma and Andy Knighton are pictured at Sainsbury’s with her grandmother Margaret Griffin and her cousin, Michelle Tomkins.
They raised almost £500 through the event.
Mrs Tomkins said: “The amount raised was excellent considering there was only a small team of us. So huge thanks to Sainsbury’s customers for being so generous.”
