A new charity shop is opening in Higham Ferrers at the weekend.
The shop will be run by Mercy in Action who work with street children in the Philippines. It is the charity’s 15th shop, and first one in Northamptonshire.
It will have something for everyone, including high quality ladies and menswear, a great selection of books and clothes and toys.
Shop manager Jude is keen to build up a strong volunteer team. She said: “There will be plenty of volunteer roles, for those who love books, who want to build their customer service skills or for students completing their Duke of Edinburgh scheme – there will be something for everyone.”
The shop opens on Saturday with a launch party with drinks and nibbles.
