Sessions to offer help with welfare reform and benefit change

Spire Homes is holding a series of Learn4Life sessions in March to help tenants with the welfare reform and benefit changes, and to help them brush up on budgeting skills.

There will be a Welfare reform and benefit changes session on March 20 from 10.30am until 12.30pm, and a budgeting skills session on March 26 from 10am until 12.30pm.

Both sessions will take place at the Costa Coffee community room in Rushden High Street. One to one financial advice will also available on both days.

A spire Homes spokesman said; “The Learn4Life is a project to help, engage and assist tenants in learning new skills, and help with the benefit changes so they can understand and be prepared.

“Also planned are a series of one day courses with a variety of subjects including DIY and cooking skills, financial skills and basic ICT skills - which will be coming soon.
