Youths have been climbing over and jumping on cars in a spate which has seen at least 10 vehicles damaged in recent weeks.
Police say they have received a number of calls in the past few weeks about people climbing over cars in Thrapston, resulting in damage including dents and scratches.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “Over the past few weeks, we have received a number of calls about cars being jumped on in the Thrapston area.
“To date, at least 10 vehicles have been reported as damaged.
“We would urge anyone in the area who has their car damaged in a similar way to report it to us.
“We would also encourage anyone who knows anything about these incidents to contact us as the damage caused to vehicles by this kind of senseless behaviour can be very expensive for people to repair.”
