A third young person has been killed on the county’s roads in 24 hours.
Tom Cambio, 24, died after his Suzuki motorbike collided with three cars and a lorry on the A605 near Barnwell at 6.20pm on Wednesday.
His death came just 24 hours after Ryan Kirk, 19, of Denford Ash, and Charlotte Filer, 17, of Kettering, died near Grafton Underwood on Tuesday.
Tim Jackson, of Higham Ferrers, who went to Bishop Stopford School in Kettering with Mr Cambio, said: “He had always been into his bikes, from riding around the mountains at his family’s home in Italy, to us travelling to school on our mopeds.”
“He was one of the most genuine people you could ever wish to meet and he will be sorely missed.”
Mr Jackson and his friends David Longstaff and Cavan Treanor left a copy of Motorcycle News at the scene of the accident.
Mr Cambio, of Kettering, had got his “dream job”’ as a senior web reporter on the magazine last April.
Mr Treanor said: “It is so sad to have lost a close friend at such an early age. Comfort can be taken in that he was at the happiest time in his life, with the love of a great family and girlfriend Clare.”
A Motorcycle News spokesman said: “Everyone here is upset. Our thoughts are with his family.”
