Wicksteed Park is taking audiences to the seaside after premiering its latest daytime show.
The Great British Seaside Show, which has its first performance in the park’s stunning Edwardian Pavilion today (May 16) is produced by Revival Live UK and is based on the classic end of pier variety show, taking you on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, back to the good old days when summer meant family trips to the Great British Seaside.
Audiences can enjoy songs such as I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside, Summertime Blues, Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, In The Summertime and With My Little Stick of Blackpool Rock.
Park marketing co-ordinator Marie Phillips said: “The Wicksteed Park shows provide a unique format which allows people to combine West End standard entertainment with lunch and afternoon tea.
