Scooter rider dies after crash on A14 between Kettering and Thrapston

A man has died after he lost control and fell from his scooter on the A14 between Kettering and Thrapston.

The man, who has not yet been named by police, died following the accident on Friday, July 29.

A police spokesman said: “The 64-year-old man was riding a green LML scooter on the A14 eastbound between Junctions 11 and 12 when, for reasons yet unknown, he lost control and fell from the bike.

“Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or who may have any information regarding it.”
