The Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel in Corby has been sold, saving the jobs of its 51 employees.

The 71-bedroom hotel was put up for sale after its operators, Barinbrook Limited, went into administration in February.

Six other hotels operated by the Barinbrook group have also been sold, saving an additional 172 jobs.

Nick Cropper, partner at administrators Zolfo Cooper, said: “We are delighted with the outcome achieved and would like to thank the staff for their support and professionalism during this process”.

After the Corby hotel was put up for sale its general manager Warren Browning gave an assurance that it had a bright future and that the jobs of all its employees were secure.
