Rushden swimming pool closed until further notice due to technical problem

Splash pool in Rushden was closed yesterday (Thursday) and will remain closed until a technical problem with heating the pool can be resolved.

A spokesman for East Northants Council said: “There is a problem with heating the pool.

“We are hoping to have an engineer out today.”

Aspirations Wellbeing, which runs the pool on behalf of the council, posted a message on its Facebook page today, which said: “Splash pool will still be shut until further notice, will update this page if anything changes, if you would like a swim please visit the Nene Centre, sorry for any inconvenience.”
