A 21-year-old Rushden man has been arrested after two burglary incidents in the space of an hour in Rothwell.

The incidents reportedly happened between 3am and 4am yesterday (Tuesday), with the offender allegedly attempting to break into a garage in Burditt Close before breaking into a garage in Vickers Close.

He was later arrested on suspicion of committing burglary.

Officers are seeking another man who is believed to have been in the area at the time.

He is described as white, aged 16-30 and wearing a dark coloured hoodie.

They would also like information on a dark coloured vehicle, possibility a Volkswagen Polo, which was in the area.
