Rushden Lakes branding revealed

Branding for the new £50m Rushden Lakes scheme has been unveiled by the developers who are calling it a ‘naturally different’ project.

LXB, the company behind the major retail and leisure site just off the A45 at Skew Bridge, has exclusively revealed the new logo for its multi-million pound development to the Northants Telegraph.

Billboards displaying the new logo, which incorporates migrating birds, will go up at the site where initial enabling works to clear it have already taken place.

Wildlife will play a key part in the scheme, with a large part of the development set aside for a major new nature reserve and the Wildlife Trust in Northamptonshire opening a visitor centre there.

Spokesman for LXB, Gavin Stollar, said: “Displaying billboards on site is an exciting milestone for Rushden Lakes.

“As can be seen, the billboards signal the unveiling of our new migrating birds logo and tagline ‘naturally different’ which we feel perfectly captures everything that the Lakes project is about.

“Rushden Lakes will deliver a unique leisure, retail and tourism destination that will enhance the natural habitat whilst protecting the site’s strong connection to migrating birds.”
