Robber fled after threatening man with a knife in Northampton

A 47-year-old man was threatened with a knife and told to hand over his phone and money during a robbery on a Northampton street.

A robbery took place in Countess Road, Northampton, last week.

The victim was walking along Countess Road in Spencer at about 9.50pm on Tuesday, September 27, when he was approached by the robber.

The victim stepped towards the suspect who then fled towards Victoria Park, having taken nothing.

The offender was aged in his mid-20s and wore a dark top and hat, according to a police spokeswoman.
