Robber on bicycle threatened man at knifepoint in Northampton street

A man had money stolen from him during a knifepoint robbery that took place in Sharman Road, St James.

At around 8pm on Tuesday, 15 November, the victim was walking home from the bookmakers when he was approached by a white man on a bicycle who demanded money. When the victim refused, the offender threatened him with a knife, holding it against his throat, then reached into the victim’s trouser pocket and removed cash.

The robber rode off on the bike when he was disturbed by a member of the public.
