One of Northamptonshire Police’s longest-serving detectives has written a book about his career.
Mick Rine, 66, from Raunds, spent about three years putting the book, called Think of Those Denied the Privilege, together.
The book has details of numerous cases Mr Rine worked on, although in most instances names are omitted.
London-born Mr Rine joined Northamptonshire Police in 1972 and retired three decades later in 2002.
Copies of the book can be bought for £9.99, plus postage, by contacting Mr Rine directly by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Copies can also be ordered at www.amazon.co.uk.
