Remember your loved ones at memorial service in Wellingborough

The service is being held at Wellingborough’s Nene Valley Crematorium in Doddington Road, which opened earlier this year, at 4.30pm on Saturday, December 3.

It will see the entire hall lit by candlelight and the event is open to people from all faiths.

A spokesman for the event said: “Please join us to remember those we have sadly lost during 2016.

“Everyone is welcome to attend our commemorative service to reflect on their loved ones at this seasonal time.”

Several ministers and civil celebrants will be presenting readings and tributes at the service, which will be ticketed for safety reasons.

Each seat/standing ticket will be used as a raffle entry for any donated gifts.

There will be refreshments afterwards and people can place the name of a loved one on a memorial tree.

The service will be raising money for Nene Valley Community Action, who will divide gifts between seasonal Wellingborough charities.

It will be broadcast via a webcast and the details are available upon request by contacting the crematorium.
