Primary and secondary schools have been invited to enter a competition that will test their pupils’ speed and skills. The competition is based on wheelchair slalom and will give pupils an understanding of the training needed to become a Paralympian.
Charity WheelPower is taking its Relay Challenge roadshow to school sports halls in Corby, Kettering, Rushden, Wellingborough and surrounding areas.
WheelPower’s education and fundraising manager, Ollie Moore, said: “WheelPower’s Relay Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for schools to discover what wheelchair sport is all about by having a go themselves and competing against other schools.”
