Regular visitors invited to have their say on Corby cemetery and its future
The Friends Of Shire Lodge Cemetery group was formed to discuss any ongoing concerns at the cemetery in Rockingham Road, Corby.
At the forthcoming meeting, the council will also look to consult with the group on a range of service development issues such as revising the cemetery regulations.

Hide AdCorby Council’s lead member for environment, Cllr Mark Pengelly, said: “Being such a sensitive facility, our priority is to make sure we are doing everything right for the visitors of Shire Lodge Cemetery and we feel this group is the best way towards doing so.
“The opinion of our residents is key to us, so I hope that regular visitors will come along to the meeting to express their views on the future of the cemetery.”
If you are interested in attending the next Friends of Shire Lodge Cemetery group, there will be a meeting at 6pm on Wednesday, February 24, at the Corby Cube, George Street, which anyone is welcome to attend.
