Volunteers are being recruited to help out at a charity which rescues and re-homes animals.
Animals In Need is looking for people aged 18 and over who can help out at the charity based at Pine Tree Farm in Little Irchester.
They would like to hear from anyone who can offer a block of at least four hours a week, is confident around all kinds of animals and is not frightened of getting their hands dirty.
Annie Marriott from the charity said: “If you have answered yes to these three questions, then why not come and have a chat with us about how you can help at our animal rescue centre?”
Animals In Need was set up in 1990 and is a voluntary organisation dedicated to rescuing sick, injured, trapped and distressed wild and domestic animals.
It provides veterinary treatment where necessary, cares for and rehabilitates animals until they can be released or re-homed.
The team of volunteers cares for and tries to re-home animals of all shapes and sizes, including cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hens and African land snails.
The volunteers recruitment day is taking place from midday until 3pm on Saturday, January 9.
