Kettering General Hospital is on the lookout for nurses.
The hospital is holding a recruitment event for nurses and health care assistants in the Prince William Education Centre at the hospital from 8.45am to midday on Saturday, September 19.
Director of nursing and quality Leanne Hackshall said: “We are very proud of our nursing and health care assistant team at KGH and are looking to recruit some keen and dedicated individuals to join us.
“We are well known locally as a friendly and caring hospital which is a great place for patients to be treated and an excellent place to develop an NHS career.
“KGH has seven clinical units on our site – urgent care, specialty medicine, adult medicine, anaesthesia, women & children, surgery, and clinical support – and all of them offer some great opportunities.
“At the moment we are recruiting to more than 50 posts across a wide range of these specialties and are looking to develop our nursing practice for the benefit of staff, patients and carers.
“We would encourage anyone who is already qualified – or looking for a care assistant opportunity – to contact us.”
On the day there will be a nursing presentation from 9am followed by a walking tour of the hospital.
People are encouraged to drop in at any time but if you arrive at 9am allow an hour and half for a presentation and introduction to the hospital.
There will be an opportunity to talk to staff and ask any questions you may have.
Please also bring with you some proof of ID and if you are a nurse your NMC registration details.
If you are interested in applying for a nursing or healthcare assistant job you can either apply on the day or via the internet.
There is free car parking on the day in Car Park E, at the Rothwell Road railway bridge entrance (entrance 4) to the hospital site and is the first available parking on the left.
